Ground transportation has an environmental cost, and pretending otherwise helps nobody. We would rather be straightforward about what we are doing to reduce ours — and about what is still work in progress.
The single biggest saving in our industry is simple: a group traveling together in one vehicle produces far less than the same people in four or five separate cars. Every wedding shuttle, corporate roadshow and airport group transfer we run takes cars off the road rather than adding one.
A chauffeur circling while waiting, or driving across the metro to an unnecessary repositioning, burns fuel for no passenger benefit. We plan routes and schedules to cut deadhead mileage — which is better for emissions and for our costs, so there is no tension between the two.
Because we track your inbound flight, our chauffeur arrives when your aircraft actually lands rather than sitting at the curb through a two-hour delay. Less waiting means less idling, and a better pickup for you.
A properly serviced engine, correct tyre pressures and clean filters measurably reduce fuel burn. Our vehicles are maintained on schedule because it keeps them reliable and efficient, not only because it keeps them presentable.
As vehicles come up for replacement we assess the hybrid and electric options available in each class. Adoption in the large-vehicle segment is still uneven, so we will not claim more than we can deliver — but the direction of travel is settled.
Booking, confirmation, receipts and chauffeur job sheets are all handled digitally. There is no printed paperwork in a normal booking from end to end.
